FAQ
Membership, in plain language.
The terms that matter, before you join.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes, for medical reasons, extended travel or another good cause, with 14 days' written notice. A freeze can total up to two months in any rolling 12. Dues aren't charged during an approved freeze and access is paused. An administrative fee may apply, and a freeze doesn't pause the six-month commitment on Monthly.
What does the six-month commitment on Monthly mean?
Monthly dues continue through the first six months, even if you cancel. After that, you can cancel with 30 days' written notice.
Can I cancel my membership?
After any commitment period, cancel with 30 days' written notice. Florida law also lets you cancel within 3 business days of signing, and with a prorated refund if the club closes or relocates more than 5 miles, or in case of death or disability. Full terms are in the membership agreement you accept in Playtomic.
Can my rate change?
DUS gives at least 14 days' written notice before changing membership dues, and you can cancel without penalty before the change takes effect.
How do guest passes work?
Each membership includes three guest passes a month for the locker rooms, spa, recovery room and gym equipment. Each guest accepts the waiver and follows club rules. Guests book courts and programs at standard rates, and additional guests pay the posted guest fee.
How far ahead can I book, and how many courts?
Annual members book 14 days ahead and Monthly members 10, with up to 3 reservations per day and 10 active at a time. Non-members book 7 days ahead, up to 3 a day and 7 active.
Can I share or transfer my membership?
No. Memberships are personal and use a digital credential, so they can't be shared or transferred. Changing between Monthly and Annual carries a processing charge plus any difference in fees.
Do you offer couples or family memberships?

Can my teenager have a membership?
Yes, from age 16, with a parent or guardian signing the agreement for anyone under 18. Saunas and cold plunges are for ages 18 and up.
